Programming a scroll with ActionScript 2.0 Part Two
This step is now to begin shaping the scroll, the previous steps were the only basis for this work properly scroll.
Step 11
Located in the symbol (scroll Scene), open the library (ctrl. + L).
Drag the symbol from the library (scroll button).
Place the symbol in coordinates X: 0.0 Y: 0.0.
Step 12
In this step you should take caution, first select the symbol (not the frame).
Then open the Actions – Button and insert the ActionScript 2.0 code.

Step 13
Insert a second layer from the panel library (ctrl. + L), drag the symbol (actions scroll).
Placed in the appropriate Instance Name (logic).
Place the symbol in coordinates X: -7.5 Y: 0.0.
Step 14
Create the ultimate symbols (ctrl. + F8) for this flash movie.
Set as the symbol name (text).
In the type option, select (Movie clip).
Step 15
Select the text tool (T), select the type of text (Static Text).
Write the text you want to appear in the scroll, the text field on this occasion as measures 333.9 px width * 402.1 px height.
Place the text field in coordinates X: 0.0 Y: 0.0.
Step 16
Return to the scene, rename the layer (text).
From the panel of the library (ctrl. + L), drag the symbol (text).
Set as instance name (button_list).
Place the symbol in coordinates X: 108.1 Y: 70.0.
Step 17
Insert a new layer (Layer mask), then select the rectangle tool (R).
Draw a rectangle (without border), Fill color #000000.
The measures of the rectangle are 331.0 px width * 250.0 px height.
Place the symbol in coordinates X: 108.1 Y: 70.0.
Step 18
Click the right mouse button on the layer (Layer mask).
In the drop down menu select the option (Mask).
Step 19
Insert a new layer (limit).
Drag from the Library panel (ctrl. + L), the symbol (limit up_down).
In the box instance name (write, scroll_bar).
Place the symbol in coordinates X: 471.0 Y: 110.0.
Step 20
Insert a new layer (button).
Drag from the Library panel (ctrl. + L) the symbol (scroll Scene).
In the box instance name (write scroll_shape).
Place the symbol in coordinates X: 468.8 Y: 115.0.
Step 21
Insert the last layer (actions).
Select the frame inserted, then open the panel (Actions – Frame) and insert the following code.
