Now enter the 'Material Room' and add a texture to the background. You can find these at Materials\! RenderStudio.
Now back in the 'Pose Room' it's time to add some Ambient Occlusion.
From the Python Palette click on the 'Advanced AO editor.
Select all the materials in your scene that you wish to add an AO node to.
In this scene I have added a node to all materials except V4 Cornea, EyeSurface, Iris, Pupil and Eyebrow.
I also added a node to the Paper Roll as this will give a nice ambient
occlusion around the feet of V4 where they touch the floor.
When you have check marked all the materials that you want to apply AO too click the 'Add AO Node' button.
You can click 'OK' to leave the AO editor at this point.
It's time to do a final render. Open the 'Render Settings' dialog and enter similar settings to the image below.
It is important to use 'Raytracing' or ambient occlusion will not work.
If you wish to show shadows make sure that 'Cast Shadows is also
checked.
And here is the final render.
Other Parts of Render Studio
The Paper Roll Cove
A set of ten photographic studio style backgrounds are supplied for use
as textures for the 'Paper Roll Cove'. To load these textures onto the
Paper Roll, enter the 'Material Room' and make sure that the Paper
Roll is selected. Browse to the '! Render Studio' material library and
load any of the ten textures available.
Don't forget that the Paper Roll Cove can have any image or photograph
loaded as a background. It can be scaled and rotated just like any
other prop in Poser. You can use all of Render Studio without using the
Paper Roll Cove if you wish.
USING GELS
Gels are a great way to add patterns and mood to a render.
You can use the gels on any light, but the lights they are designed for
in Render Studio are the background lights, the overhead light and the
projector light.
To create a gel light. Load any of the background lights. Making sure
that it is selected and enter the 'Material Room' and navigate to '!
Render Studio\Background Gels' and choose a gel and load it onto the
light.
You can change the color of the gel in the Material Room too. In the parameter dials you can also set the intensity.
The above image shows the 'Window Blinds' gel on the 'Background Top
Right' Light and the 'Kaleidoscope' gel on the 'Overhead' light.
You will find a set of pre-set projector lights with gels already
loaded in the 'Lights Library' '! Render Studio\Projector Gels.
